Trauma & PTSD: Resources

Trauma Resources:

Trauma refers to the lasting emotional, psychological, and physiological effects of experiences that overwhelm a person’s capacity to cope.

Trauma can arise from many sources—single incidents, ongoing relational harm, neglect, systemic stressors, or events that may not appear extreme from the outside but are deeply impactful to the individual.

Trauma is not a personal weakness, and people do not have to face it alone. With the right resources, supportive relationships, and trauma-informed care, the effects of trauma can be significantly reduced and meaningful healing is possible.
